Hayden Whittenbarger placed 21st out of 149 runners at the Delta Invitational Saturday to lead the Braves to a sixth-place finish out of 17 teams. His time was 17:22. Second man Harry Gunsett finished 28th in 17:40, just two seconds away from his career best. Maddux Miller was 35th in 17:59, and Hudson Krull, coming off a recent injury, gutted out an 18:28 for 48th place. Ethan Curtis had one of his best races of the season, clocking an 18:42 for 54th place. The Braves will return to the Taylor University course next Saturday to compete in the Delta Sectional.
