BELLMONT HS ATHLETICS

Led by two Top-20 individual finishes by Hayden Whittenbarger (8th in 17:26) and Hudson Krull (17th in 17:50), the boys' cross country team placed fifth out of 16 teams in the AA Division of the New Haven Classic on the Huntington University course Saturday. Maddux Miller (30th) and Harry Gunsett (34th) also collected individual medals for their Top-40 finishes. Ethan Curtis was fifth man in 51st place out of 165 runners. Sixth man Landon Rich was close behind Curtis in 54th.
