BELLMONT HS ATHLETICS

A nice come from behind win for the JV Lady Braves over Huntington North last evening. After dominating most of the 1st half, the Braves gave up a goal after a scramble in front of net to fall behind 1-0 The Braves regrouped and came out firing in the 2nd half and the new look offense came to life getting 2 goals by Katelyn Borne, Sofia Steury assisted on the 2nd goal. Both shots were nice strikes just outside the 18yd box. The offense got 18 shots on goal, far surpassing previous games. Emily Barton had 5 saves in goal. The entire team played well on a very hot and muggy night. Great job ladies!
