BELLMONT HS ATHLETICS

The Bellmont High School Swimming and Diving teams delivered a dominant performance Tuesday night, earning convincing victories over DeKalb High School in both the girls and boys meets. The Bellmont girls captured a decisive 117–38 win, showcasing depth and consistency across all events. The Braves claimed multiple event victories, including wins from Langley Murray in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Madeline Witte in the 100 breaststroke, and Ella Hockemeyer in the 100 butterfly. Bellmont also swept all three relays, highlighted by first-place finishes in the 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, and 400 freestyle relay. On the diving board, Braelyn Radecki earned first place to open the meet. Both teams demonstrated strong effort throughout the meet, continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
